Check in was easy. The staff were really helpful. The communal kitchen was a great idea and parking was easy and CCTV protected. The provision of breakfast was an added bonus. Convenient for us as we used it as a base for our travels. The room was adequate for our needs.

It is a beautiful park like setting. A true retreat. The food is mediocre at best and low value for what you pay and you can tell the staff is overwhelmed . Such a shame. Very expensive food. 1878 on the lake however was exceptional! Would come back for that restaurant alone.

The property is beautiful and has a super view of the village on the opposite hillside. The room was comfortable, large, and well decorated in a vintage style. Breakfast was very tasty. The staff were all friendly abd helpful.

Hotel mit dem Charme der 70er. Zimmer ausreichend gro?, aber leider KEINE Klimaanlage (wir hatten bis 29 Grad Au?entemperatur)! Die Matratze war für mich zu weich. Der Luftabzug im Bad dürfte defekt gewesen sein-mit entsprechender Auswirkung. Die Türen klemmten, soda? das Schlie?en sehr ger?uschvoll war! Die Bestuhlung beim Frühstück am Samstag war zu eng, am Sonntag war es besser. Das Frühstück wiederum war sehr gut. Das Essen im hoteleigenem Restaurant war auch sehr gut!

Recently changed names. But a great location and very clean stylish room the staff in the bar/ restaurant are amazing. Very friendly The breakfast in the morning fantastic. Very good quality and so was our evening meal couldn’t fault it

We were able to check in early which were so grateful after our long journey.Staff very nice and friendly.Breakfast very good.Only wish there had been veg sausages as we do not eat pork.
